PROGRAMM
Our program is not simply a technique, not just a class, not just playtime. It is a teaching method based on the premise that in their early stages, children learn many things simultaneously: music, speech, language, and social skills and they are not separate activities to them. Music through the English language and language through music. Notes, songs, instruments, rules, patterns, sequence, structure, participation are naturally learned together.
Children learn the role of the teacher and how to adapt to a classroom setting. Teaches listening skills while encouraging individual and group participation. Activities include singing, interaction, dancing, story and instrument time.
Courses for very young children: 'Munchkins Playgroup', 'Tiny Musicians', 'Music Time!', 'Listen & Hear!' and 'Do Re Mi', concentrate on rhythms, tone, images, color and counting.
Older children in 'I Can Sing!' and 'I Can Play!' learn more advanced musical and verbal skills. They perform in a recital at the end of the course.
All instructions are in English. Parent/Guardian participation is required.
All children who are enrolled in the complete semester course with consistent attendance will receive a Student Progress Report at the end of each semester.
